10 Days – Maasai Mara/ Nakuru/ Samburu / Mt Kenya/ Amboseli

DAY 1: Nairobi- Maasai Mara

Leave Nairobi and drive south and have a stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. After the breathtaking view, proceed to Narok town for lunch. Afterwards, procced to Masai Mara arriving for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and night in your camp or lodge

DAY 2: Maasai Mara full day.

After breakfast, spend a full day in search of the Big Five, enjoying the best that nature can provide in this game reserve taking your picnic lunch at the hippo pools. This day you have the chance to visit mara river where the migration of wildebeest takes place . Return to your camp or hotel for dinner and night.

Look out for the Lions, Cheetah, Buffaloes, Elephants, Leopard and the shy Leopard!

Day 3: Masai Mara full day

After breakfast you spend another full day in Masai Mara with an optional visit to Masai village in the afternoon. Return to your camp / Lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: Masai Mara/ L. Nakuru

After a late breakfast depart from Masai Mara with picnic lunch on the way arriving in Nakuru city hotel / camp in the evening. Enjoy your dinner as you spent this night in a civilization world.

DAY 5: Lake Nakuru / Samburu;

After an early breakfast, you will spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park where you see millions of flamingoes among other birds [about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino and also home to Columbus monkeys, Leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Later with picnic lunch depart to Samburu via Thomson’s Falls where we make a brief stopover at Nyahururu town, still known to many as ‘Thomson’s falls’ arriving in the evening. Dinner and night at your camp or lodge

DAY 6: Samburu Full day

Morning and Afternoon game-drive in Samburu with the chance to see the rare species of animals and plants. Meals and overnight at your camp or hotel.

DAY 7: Samburu- Mt. Kenya

Pre-morning game drive. After breakfast, bid farewell to Samburu as we drive south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, until we reach Nanyuki town. Dinner and overnight in town hotel.

DAY 8: Mt Kenya / Amboseli

After breakfast you will proceed for an excursion to Mau Mau Caves which were used as hideout as well as shelter by the pre-independent freedom fighters that fought the British Colonial Government, the vast thick forest of Mt Kenya and Aberdares Ranges. Later proceed to Amboseli arriving in the evening dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge

DAY 9: Amboseli full day

Pre-morning game drive will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro the highest peak in Africa. You also guaranteed to see the big elephants, giraffes, lions etc. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

DAY 10: Amboseli- Nairobi

After breakfast depart for Nairobi with picnic lunch on the way arriving late afternoon.
